Support is at hand to help you live well in Oban, Lorn and the Islands.
Here Living Well Network Coordinator Carol Flett tells us how the Oban, Lorn and Islands Living Well Network aims to support anyone in the community who wants to improve the health and wellbeing of people living locally.
Network members already signed up include people from the third sector, statutory and private sectors and interested individuals from our communities.
New members with an interest in helping to build healthier communities are always welcome to join the network that has allocated coordination time funded by the Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership.
Anyone interested is invited to drop in to the network’s public event on Tuesday May 14 from 1pm to 2.30pm at The Rockfield Centre to meet many of its members and find out about the support they provide.
Ms Flett said: "We meet at least four times a year to network, build partnerships and share knowledge and information. In between meetings members receive regular e-mails containing relevant news and information about support that is available from a variety of sources."
If you would like more information about the Living Well Network, have information you would like to share with the network or if you would like to receive information to share among your community, you can also contact the Oban, Lorn and the Islands Living Well Network by emailing tcmhwn@gmail.com
