The theft of two cars on Saturday April 6 has been investigated by police in Lochgilphead.
Reports were received that Scottish Water Sewage Works and Kilmory Nursery had been broken into and a car allegedly stolen from the first site, driven to the second location, dumped and then a second car stolen.
Following investigation, the second missing vehicle was located at a local address and a 34-year-old man arrested.
It is alleged that other items stolen within the two break-ins were found in possession of the man.
The man has been charged with the offences and has been held in custody to present before the next available court.
At 8.30am on Friday April 5, on the A83, near Lochgair, police officers stopped a vehicle and searched it and the occupants under Misuse of Drugs Act Powers.
A 24-year-old male passenger was offered, and accepted, a recorded police warning after a small wrap of Cannabis (1.95g) was found on him.
A 33-year-old male passenger was arrested for possession of a controlled substance after he was found to be in possession of four cannabis laced cigarettes.
During this arrest it is alleged that the man resisted officers as well as shouted abuse at them. He was further charged with these offences.
