Campbeltown Pupils travelled to take on Easterhouse last Saturday but returned home deflated after a heavy 6-0 defeat.
The now-common selection issue of many players being unavailable to play in away matches once again caused problems for the Kintyre side.
Two trialists were signed the night before the match, to help out the bare minimum squad and make sure the West of Scotland Football League fourth division match was fulfilled.
The Pupils were very unlucky to end up 2-0 down at half time, with the home keeper pulling off some outstanding saves in an end-to-end first half.
Easterhouse made it 3-0 early in the second half and the energy and belief was drained from the Kintyre Hire-away sponsored Pupils.
Three more goals were added before the end to make it 6-0 for a very impressive Easterhouse side.
Tomorrow (Saturday), the Pupils are at home against Royal Albert FC, a club with a very long and colourful history. Kick-off at Kintyre Park is at 2pm.
