Age is no limit to a magic dragon-themed multi-sensory story-telling session and art workshops on Saturday January 15 at Seil Island Hall.
Japanese-style drumming group Tsuchigumo Daiko joined the Seil Island community to run workshops for seven children and eight adults before giving an energetic performance of their own
Temperatures took a dip but it didn’t put off young and old who headed to the Corran Halls on Saturday to see the return of the town’s traditional Reindeer Parade.
Highlights to look forward on Saturday November 27 include at Tartan Dash run or walk at Ganavan at 9.30am followed by haggis hurtling competitions on the shinty pitch then the reindeer parade leaving Corran Halls at 5pm.
Photographers from the area are collaborating with festival organisers to project some of their best images onto the tower walls turning it into a gallery.
Oban’s last Winter festival in 2019 with its 53 free events attracted more than 26,000 people, raised £37,900 for good causes and brought £1.8million to the town’s economy.
