Scottish SPCA chief superintendent Mike Flynn has asked Lochaber dog owners to take extra care with their four-legged companions during the current high summer temperatures.
‘We look forward to working with our partners, Scottish Government and the Scottish Parliament to progress these positive commitments to animal welfare in Scotland.’
The pair have been named Annie and Haillee.
