There was no change in the lead in the 2019 Scottish Six Days Trial after day four yesterday (Thursday) as both James Dabill (Beta) and Dougie Lampkin (Vertigo) completed the 30 observed sections without dropping a single mark.

James Dabill (Beta) retained his lead in the 2019 Scottish Six Days Trial as the prestigious Edinburgh and District Motor Club’s event reached the half way stage yesterday (Wednesday) evening, surviving his early start day with a loss of just two marks, his first of the week.
James Dabill eased the factory Beta into the sole lead of the 2019 Scottish Six Days Trial yesterday (Tuesday) with a clean observation score for the second consecutive day to remain the only rider to retain a clean sheet through the two days and 60 sections of competition.
As the 2019 Scottish Six Days Trial is now just a matter of days away, much of the media focus is on Dougie Lampkin (Vertigo) and whether he can keep his incredible run of seven consecutive wins going – and of course if he can add to his record number of 12 victories.
Almost 300 riders have entered this year’s event.
Police officers in Lochaber are looking forward to supporting the annual Scottish Six Days Trial which start this Friday (May 4).
