Almost 30 per cent of Mull visitors surveyed for a new report said that the possibility of seeing a sea eagle was a major factor in their decision to visit the island but NFU Scotland says we have to make sure that the agritourism benefits that will bring will not be at the expense of farmers’ livelihoods.

Check for stowaway rodents to help save our seabirds

As well as bot owners being urged to check their boats for the likes of rodents and mink, day trippers visiting the Treshnish Isles and Staff are also being encouraged to keep an eye on their bags and seal away food in another bid to stop invasive predators reaching seabird colonies and putting them at risk.
