Ganavan residents have witnessed ‘disgusting scenes’ and ‘totally wreckless behaviour’ this year by some who camp overnight in their vehicles, Oban Community Council have been told.

Basic services proposed for Ganavan could include a cold water tap, general and chemical waste disposal, designated campervan bays and a place to pay.
Argyll and Bute Council says while the ‘overwhelming majority of visitors’ use Ganavan responsibly which is ‘really appreciated’ there are ‘unfortunately’ a small minority of people who ignore the rule prohibiting using vehicles overnight for camping or sleeping purposes.
