A new book published by An Iodhlann, the museum on the island of Tiree, tells the story of a young man’s war – and his tragic death in 1941 at the age of 24.
With plans to commemorate his name in the museum, Mr Leech will be missed by many people and organisations in the town.
Mr Leech’s wide breadth of knowledge of Oban War and Peace Museum’s collection and his commitment were widely recognized and appreciated.
The museum is also appealing for anyone who would like to be involved in shaping the charity’s future to think about becoming a trustee.
