The MacDonald family were tenants at Cranachan Farm in Glen Roy and in typical Highland fashion took on the nickname of their residence.

However, the committee says it and other interested parties are now reviewing all aspects of the management of the paper, and will consider all options for relaunching it at some stage in the future.
