Rural Trust welcomes back first school group in three years

The Trust gives youngsters the opportunity to find out about many aspects of rural life through a number of ‘hands on’ projects, from planting to preparing and cooking fresh foods to using natural materials in various crafts and above all having fun while learning.

Thieves wreak costly damage during break-in at Lochaber trust

One of the Trust’s highlights for children is its ‘Seed to Supper’ project where under expert guidance the youngsters prepare the ground in large outdoor planters, (which are also designed for access by wheelchair users),  sow various vegetable seeds and on each return visit help cultivate them.

Rural Trust hosts Spean Bridge youngsters

Courgette muffins, oatcakes, fresh delicious smoothies and a hearty vegetable soup were made and then enjoyed by pupils and staff from Spean Bridge Primary School when they visited Lochaber Rural Education Trust recently.
