Ms Moynihan added that LHA has been keeping local constituency MSP Kate Forbes informed on the situation and also met with Ms Forbes at the site of the development last month.

The Lochaber Times reported last year on the decision by Reporter Trevor Croft to uphold the Lochaber Housing Association’s appeal against the refusal of its planning application by Highland Council planning committee.
Residents of all ages were encouraged to take part and a good turnout was present for the community clean-up.
LHA also proposes to have further consultation with the local community council and the wider community to discuss future development at the site.
The council’s planning officers had originally recommended the application be approved on the grounds that the delivery of the affordable scheme, with its mix of house types was acceptable, a conclusion which Scottish Government Reporter Trevor Croft agreed with.
Ms Moynihan said she was delighted to have been confirmed as the organisation’s new chief executive.
Residents say they have done all they can to have this matter resolved but are now at breaking point.
The modern apprenticeships from Lochaber Housing Association have led to new opportunities and continued growth for those young people taking part.
A total of £7,000 has again been made available
