Eddie Ross, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative said the surfacing project across these two locations of A87 and A82 will help address defects and greatly improve the surface for motorists.

Totalling 3MW and utilising storage capacity, it is anticipated the schemes will produce over 10GWh of electricity per annum, following a period of upgrade works.

The £280,000 project will see over a kilometre of improvements completed south of the Laggan Swing Bridge, creating a smoother and safer journey for motorists.
The project involves teams installing new safety barriers which will protect road users from roadside hazards including trees and steep drops.
