Rock art found in burial cairn rewrites understanding of ancient inhabitants of Argyll
The restoration and regeneration of the derelict Category B Listed building to create much needed affordable-rented accommodation was achieved as a result of planning staff working with colleagues in Housing; Historic Environment Scotland; and Lewis Builders Ltd, the developer.
The money will enable Friends of Kilbride to undertake Phase Three of its programme of restoration and renovation of the Kirk and Session House.
The money was awarded to the MacDougall of Dunollie Preservation Trust for works to the exterior and main tower of Dunollie Castle in Oban.
Event runs from noon to 4pm both days.
The call comes following reports recently that Historic Environment Scotland (HES) is considering moving its National HQ to Fort George, near Inverness.
