Shop owner Campbell Munro said the heroes were the ‘big team’ of volunteers who all played their part in getting ‘hundreds and hundreds’ of deliveries out to people across the community, including to North Connel and Bonawe.

What would normally take months to set up was up and running in just ten days. As well as a helpline offering a friendly listening ear, about 45,000 food parcels, other essential shopping supplies and medication drop-offs were also delivered during the pandemic.
