Argyll and Bute Trust keeps on giving

Since it became a charity in 1978, the Trust has given out large amounts of money for the benefit of people living in the area and it is still looking to help more community groups and individuals aspire to their dreams.

Gaelic funding bid celebrations

Taynuilt Ceilidhs is receiving £2,550, the Kilmartin Museum project will get £4,000 with £3,000 going to the Mod Academy Oban and £5,000 being awarded to Tiree Community Development Trust towards a Gaelic Development Officer.

Counselling in schools makes positive progress

Significant progress has been made in recruiting a team of counsellors and creating the service which also received extra funding from The Argyll and Bute Alcohol and Drug Partnership for an additional post  dedicated to helping primary school children aged 10 years and up.

Six figure funding package for Highland glens project

The project has been informed by local collaboration, extensive traffic monitoring and the results of an online survey with the introduction of new facilities and infrastructure improvements expected in autumn and winter 2021.
