Argyll and Bute Council Is holding a full council meeting today and will be considering the proposed new Local Plan (PLDP2), which includes the area at Ganavan.
It is heartening to see just how much wildlife has been spotted recently in the mosaic of habitats that make Ganavan home to such an impressive and important diversity of species.
Planners have now asked for feedback from the community as to what Ganavan’s green space COULD be used for in terms of tourism, recreation and community use.
The FoG community survey has already showed overwhelming opposition to more housing. The community now has to say what the most appropriate use would be for this valuable space or indeed whether it should be ‘developed’ at all.
