Fishing trip skipper Jack Macgregor has won the tender to run a service for residents which has been set up thanks to emergency funding.
Vehicles will not be able to sail on services between Mull and Oban on Saturday March 6 and Sunday March 7

Plans being developed will cover not just the long-term future of the pier, but also what needs to be done now to make sure it can continue to operate for the time being.
With all this in mind and the toll it must take on people living and working on the two islands, it is hardly surprising the islanders have full-steamed ahead to find a way of putting themselves out of this on-going misery
