Shaun Corrigan, Managing Director of Corrigan Contractors who were responsible for the work, attended the school along with his three siblings, two of whom were also involved with the project.
The Blythswood education programme aims to support education to transform futures. Blythswood Care is dedicated to sustainable education and social care projects, helping disadvantaged children and young people to fulfil their potential.
The project allows the nursery to move out of the gym hall in the Arisaig Primary School and into its own dedicated new building.
As projects near completion, both the webpage and map will be updated and promoted to the public through the Council’s social media channels using #BuildingOurFutureHighland.
Members at last week’s Education Committee were updated on the ongoing rollout of funded Early Learning and Childcare provision, learning that 92 percent of settings now delivering the required hours.
Current acting head Emily Brown will take up the position when schools return in the new year.
