Home bakes and plenty of tea drew in a good attendance to the latest gathering at the former school in Bonawe, giving people a chance to find out what events and projects are coming up at the community hub soon.

Bonawe took the brunt of it with houses and a quarry still cut off this morning after storm debris blocked the only way out.
Hungry regulars who enjoyed making trips to the remote honesty box on Bonawe road to get their fill of cakes, scones and tablet will now miss a treat because of the thefts.
Bonawe’s reopening is part of HES’s ongoing phased plan across the country to get back to near normal – Iona Abbey also opened again on May 24.
