The world’s finest asphalt rally comes complete with changes to mark its 50th running.
Included in this year’s plans are a stage in Tobermory itself on the Friday and what organisers believe to be the longest stage in the current era of the Rally on Saturday night – a 30 mile test.
Mull man Paul MacKinnon will be chasing a fourth Mull win and an astonishing 15th for the MacKinnon family, following his father Neil’s 11 victories scored between 1980 and 2007.
‘This is the right decision for Mull and to ensure the rally is welcomed back in, hopefully, happier times in 2021,’ says Car Club chairman.
Due to insurances issues, the rally hasn’t taken place since 2016.
