CRAWFORD-LINDSAY Craig and Rosie are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their beautiful daughter Violet Rose at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary on July 14, 2022. A wee sister for Rowan, fifth grandchild for Jimmie and Lesley Crawford, Oban and second for William Linsday, Carsegowan and Nicola Junor, Castle Kennedy.

JACK – Margaret. On July 15, 2022 peacefully in the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, aged 89 years (formerly of Kinlochleven). The beloved wife of the late Robert, very dear mother of David, Andrew and the late Robert, mother-in-law of Jan, Jackie and the late Lisa and a much loved nana and great-nana. Her funeral service will take place at graveside in Kinlochmore Cemetery on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 1.00pm. Alex Willis Funeral Home, 2 Middleton Road, Heysham, Lancashire, LA3 2QD. MACCALLUM – At Queen Elizabeth University Hospital on July 18, 2022, Edward (Eddie) of Furnace. Beloved husband of Christine, dearly loved father of Niall and Iain and daughters-in-law Cat and Lisa. Proud and loving “Grandpa Eddie” of Finn and Campbell. Dear brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Funeral Service was held at Cardross Crematorium on Tuesday 26, July followed by a Memorial Service at Cumlodden Parish Church, Furnace. Forever in our thoughts.

SPALDING – Peacefully at home, Glenview Dalmally on July 20, 2022 Elizabeth (Betty) Spalding (nee MacLaren) aged 94. Wife of the late John Spalding and beloved mother to Libby, Casey, Sandy and the late Fay. Cherished granny, great-granny and great-great-granny. Sadly missed.

DAVIE – Heather and family would like to thank all family, friends & neighbours for all the beautiful flowers, cards and wishes received on the sad passing of Billy. To the care and attention received from the Renal Departments in both Belford Hospital and Raigmore Hospital, also to Dr. John Wallace and staff at Craig Nevis Surgery. Thank you to Kilmallie Shinty Club for their support over the many years, Caol Community Centre for the refreshments and to Rev. Rory MacLeod for his lovely service in Kilmallie Church, Corpach, to Jamie and his staff at Manson & MacBeath for all their guidance and support, John Cameron for the church music and to Sean Cameron for the lovely pipe music and finally thank you to all who attended at the church and at the graveside (many of whom I didn’t get a chance to speak with) and to all who donated to the collection where a sum of £650 was raised for Kidney Research UK and Kilmallie Shinty Club – Youth Development. Thank you all.

EVANS – The family of the late Kenneth (Kenny) would like to thank everyone who came from near and far to the service at the Parish Church and thanks to everyone for the many kind expressions of sympathy. Thanks to D & A Munn, Funeral Directors for their compassion and professional organising of the funeral arrangements. Thanks to the organist and Aileen Binner who conducted a heartwarming service. Also thanks to his nephew David Evans for the eulogy and thanks to the boys who carried Kenny from the church. Thanks to Soroba House for the buffet reception. The collection at the church raised £319.91 for ABCD. Thank you all.

MARTIN (Isle of Skye) – The family of the late Kenneth (Kenny) Martin would like to express sincere thanks to family friends and neighbours for the kind messages of sympathy following the recent sad loss of our dad, grandad and great grandad. Sincere thanks to Rev Sandor Fazakas for a comforting funeral service and to all who attended at the church and graveside. Sincere thanks also to M&D Macleod undertakers for caring and compassionate handling of the funeral arrangements. Thanks also to Carole’s Florist for lovely floral arrangements and to the Cuillin Hills Hotel for refreshments and hospitality. The family wish to thank the staff at Broadford Hospital for their care and kindness to our dad and the wider family during his final days. We would especially like to express heartfelt thanks to all the Budhmor Care Home staff, for their love, care and dedication to our dad during his many years there.
