Kilmallie Community Fridge is celebrating its first anniversary next month with a clothing swish with alteration station, cookery demonstrations and talks from Zero Waste Scotland and Lochaber Environmental Group.

There will also be electric bike demonstrations, smoothie bike and the bike kitchen with bike maintenance tips and information on home composting.

Lochaber school bank will be joining in with a mini school clothing swish and Highland African Beats will be providing west African drumming musical interludes.

The event takes place at Kilmallie Community Centre, Corpach, from 2pm until 6pm on Saturday August 20. This will be followed on October 16 between 2.30pm and 5pm with a food preservation course by Clare from West Highland Herbal. Contact kilmalliecf@gmail.com to book.
