After a two-year hiatus owing to Covid lockdowns the Friends of Campbeltown Museum has become active again.

Its annual general meeting will be held on Monday July 11 at 7 pm in the Burnet Building, Campbeltown, and after the formal business is over there will be a guided tour of the museum for anyone interested in viewing the exhibits.

Angus Martin, chair of the friends, remarked: ‘We hope that past members will come along to the meeting and that others will also join us and become involved in reviving interest in the museum and ensuring that this precious community asset is safeguarded for the future.’
