St Oran’s Church in Connel is starting up a story-telling cafe.

Starting from this Saturday, July 2, there will be a cafe from 2pm to 4pm in the church on every first Saturday of the month.

At each session there will be a special guest telling the story of their life or work in the area.

Caz Taylor from Barcaldine Botanicals will be the first to appear, telling why, when, where and how she and Roland started up their business. She will also bring along some products to sell.

Future guests will be author Allan Martin, Highland Fold ice cream, the coastguard and someone from Oban RNLI station.

Tea, coffee and cakes will also be available. Entry is by donation and all proceeds will go to church funds.
