Caol shopping centre car park and surrounding junctions will be partially closed for resurfacing work from 7am on Monday July 4 to 6pm on Friday July 8.

There are five phases:

Phase 1: Glenloy Street from Kilmallie junction to the Glenkingie Street junction including a section of Clunes Avenue. The car park will be closed on the morning of Monday July 4 for surfacing preparatory work.

Phase 2: Resurfacing of Glenloy Street from the Kilmallie junction to the entrance of the car park.

Phase 3: Resurfacing of Glenloy street section alongside the car park.

Phase 4: Resurfacing of the western section of the car park.

Phase 5: Resurfacing of the eastern section of the car park.

The car park will be resurfaced in two halves to maintain parking availability. Line markings will be applied shortly after resurfacing.

Traffic diversions are in place at the following locations: Glenloy Street, Fort William.

Posters with detailed information will be displayed around the car park with diversion signs around Caol shopping area.

Emergency access will be maintained. The Highland Council thanks those affected for their patience and understanding whilst these essential resurfacing works are carried out.
