Torrential rain postponed the event by a week but the delay was worth it for Saturday’s sunshine.

Attractions included races, splat a rat, ice creams, a barbecue, beer tent and music in the field from Luing’s George May.

Isle of Luing Community Trust’s Colin Buchanan said: ‘We worked hard to deliver a fun island games for everyone and raise money for Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance which is vital to islands and remote communities like ours.

‘We are hugely grateful for the fantastic support and generosity of islanders and visitors in raising more than £2,800 for the air ambulance.’
