Members of Oban Inner Wheel have presented a £1,108 cheque to former Scotland rugby star Rob Wainwright.

Rob played rugby with Doddie Weir and is now involved in helping My Name’s Doddie Foundation raise awareness and funding for Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

During lockdown, Oban’s Inner Wheel compiled a recipe book using tried and tested favourites from friends and family.

The receipe book can be bought for £10 at the BID4Oban office in Stevenson Street, at Outside Edge in Argyll Square and at Tackle and Books in Tobermory’s Main Street.
