Oban’s Robert MacIntyre returns to action today (Thursday) at the BMW International Open in Munich, Germany, after the disappointment of missing out on a spot in last week’s US Open,

The BMW tournament marks the start of a crucial run of events that Bob will be hoping kick starts what has so far been a frustrating season.

Having slipped to 95th in the world rankings, the Oban star will be determined to put in a good showing in Munich to set himself up for the Irish Open the following week, a return to Scotland for the Scottish Open on July 7, then the final major of the season, the 150th Open Championship at St Andrews on July 14.
