Ardnamurchan High School held two celebratory events in the final weeks of the summer term; a summer dance and an annual graduation dinner.
The summer dance, organised by S6, was a welcome return to normality following the cancellation of the school’s Christmas dance last year.
The summer dance was a great success and the pupils had a great night dancing to Riska and enjoying the usual buffet during the break.
The school also saw the return of the annual staff and S6 graduation dinner which was held this year at Ardshealach Lodge in Acharacle.
Head teacher at Ardnamurchan High School Christopher Millar-Craig said: ‘It has been a great relief to us all to start to get some sense of normality again with a fantastic dance at the school and a really great send-off to our S6 at the annual graduation dinner.
‘The S6 graduation dinner was truly excellent and our thanks to the staff at Ardshealach for helping make this a memorable evening.
‘The school would like to offer a big thank you to S6 and to Mrs Kennedy for all the usual support and catering, and also to local band Riska who kept it all going.
‘We would also like to offer a special thank you to head girl Esme Tilling and head boy Hamish Kennedy.’
