Kilmallie Community Centre was the venue for The Jane Douglas School of Dance when it hosted an awards show last week.

A packed hall of proud friends and families watched as the dancers showcased some of the fantastic things they have learned over the past year.

The show included Highland Dancing, choreography and Scottish Step Dancing – featuring Highland dancers of all ages – and Fèis Lochabair Scottish Step Dancers.

After showing their best steps, the youngsters excitedly waited for their name to be called out to pick up certificates and awards on the stage.

Several of the dancers were also presented with Scottish Dance Teachers Association Medal Test awards.
