The first match of Football in Fort William week nine saw TSL facing Lochaber Rugby with an incredible 27 goals scored – 23 going to the latter.

Second up was to have been Lochaber Rangers v SLT Galacticos, although with no opponents turning up, Galacticos were awarded a bye with a three-goal win.

BSW Sawmill beat The Newco Alkies, putting them second in the league table, although The Goon Squad, who beat Seagull City 9 – 4, are hot on the heels of BSW with a match in hand.

Christmas Crackers chalked up their fourth win in a close run battle with Kinlochleven FC which saw them score 7 to their opponents 5.

While the outcome at the top of the table looks set, there are still some opportunities for change further down.
