DEATHS
CLARK – Patricia Ann (Pat). Sadly, Pat passed away on May 18, 2022 at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, in her 75th year. Devoted wife of Colin, much loved Mum to Eilidh, mother-in-law to Andrew, and Grandma to beautiful Aila. Much loved aunt and a dear friend to many. A funeral service will be held at Mortonhall Crematorium, Pentland Chapel on Tuesday, June 7 at 3.30pm, to which all friends and family are warmly invited. Family flowers only.

GOULDEN – Peter, late of Dervaig, Isle of Mull, passed away peacefully in Barnard Castle on May 23, 2022, aged 86 years. A dearly loved husband, dad, and pops.

GRACE – Donalda (Alda) née Cameron. Suddenly and unexpectedly at home on May 22, 2022, aged 84 years. Beloved partner of Crawford, a much loved mum of Kathleen, Michael and Faith, and the late PJ, Margaret and Frances, and also a devoted grandmother/great-grandmother and dear sister to Cathie and Marjory. Funeral Service at Kiel Parish Church, Lochaline on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 1.30pm, followed by interment in Kiel Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to CH&SS.

GRANT – Dr Donald Grant (Derick), Carnoustie, previously Connel (GP in Cardenden, Community Child Health Dundee, latterly Community Child Health in Argyll & Bute), died age 82 in Ninewells Hospital Dundee on May 19, 2022. Survived by his loving wife Margaret (Meg) and brothers John and Hugh. Funeral in Caddonfoot Church, Galashiels, Monday June 6, at 12.30 pm, interment Caddonfoot New Cemetery at 1.30pm, all friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only please.

SHAW – Peacefully at Glenaray Ward, Mid Argyll Hospital, on May 26, 2022, Mary Shaw, nee MacNeil in her 89th year, of Lergychonie Cottage, Barbreck, Ardfern, by Lochgilphead. Beloved wife of the late Alexander (Alex) Shaw. Dearly loved mother of Sandra, Robert, Donald and Mairi. A treasured mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and much respected friend to many. Funeral service will be held in Craignish Parish Church on Friday June 3, 2022, at 11am, thereafter to Kilvaree Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Glenaray Ward, Mid Argyll Hospital.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
MACFADYEN – Pat and all the family would like to thank everyone for all the lovely cards, phone calls, beautiful flowers and visits which brought such comfort and support following the passing of Gus (Fadgie). They would also like to thank Father David Connor and Rev. Thomas Wynne for the comforting service and Duncan Kelly for his kind words and very fitting eulogy. Thank you to Jamie, Beth and Tom at Manson & MacBeath for the funeral arrangements. Meg and staff at the Railway Social Club for their lovely food and fantastic hospitality. Pat would also like to pay a very special thank you to all the carers who looked after Gus with such dignity and compassion. The retiring collection raised £1317.88 which will be equally donated between Parkinson’s UK and the Belford Hospital.
