There is no change at the top of the Football in Fort William (FIFW) indoor league table as SLT Galacticos continued their unbeaten record, with a 7-5 win over Alkies at the Nevis Centre, although their opponents came closest to matching scores with the champions of any team yet.

The Goon Squad, placed second in the league, lost by four goals to BSW’s five. Third
placed BSW will now replace them with six wins and extra points, although Goons still top them on goal difference.

Lochaber Rugby had a rest weekend, while Christmas Crackers picked up their third win by closely defeating AMP by 6-5 and Seagull City winning by six goals to Kinlochleven FC’s two.

With week eight coming up, Galacticos are looking hard to beat either on the pitch or the league table, although second and third places remain fluid enough for a few changes by the end of the FIFW ‘season’.

Results:-
AMP 5 v Christmas Crackers 6
Kinlochleven FC 2 v Seagull City 6
Goon Squad 4 vBSW 5
SLT Galacticos 7 v Alkies 5
