Get ready to tee-off for charity.

The date has been announced for Gordon & Strathern Ltd’s charity golf day on June 24.

Oban’s Glencruitten Golf Club is the venue for this year’s event and funds raised from the day, including the amount from a grand raffle, will be donated to Oban Hospice.

In 2019, the Oban-based home improvements firm raised more than £3,000 for a charity that helps wounded service personnel when it organised a Four-Man Texas Scramble golfing day at the Dragon’s Tooth course in Ballachulish.

Dove Centre co-ordinator for Oban Hospice Peter Darling said: ‘This is a very kind gesture by Ronald Gordan and colleagues at GRS.’

Entry is £100 per team.
