About 3.30pm on Sunday May 15 in Ellenabeich, Isle of Seil, it is alleged that an assault took place whereby a man was kicked to the groin and punched to the face.  A 73-year-old man was cautioned and charged with the offence and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.


Between 4pm on Friday May 13 and 7.30am on Monday May 16 at the junction to Connel Bridge, Connel, a storage container was broken into and items from inside stolen.  Enquiries continue.

Parcel stolen

Between 3.30pm and 4.45pm on Monday May 16 at Mossfield Drive, Oban, a parcel, left on a doorstep, was opened and the contents stolenn.  Enquiries continue.

Threatening behaviour

About noon on Tuesday May 17 at Highfield Caravan Park, Benderloch, it is alleged that a man became abusive and threatening towards another man. A man was arrested and charged for the offence and released on a Police Undertaking.


About 12.15am on Thursday May 19 an alleged assault took place in an Oban establishment, with a man sustaining head injuries. Enquiries continue.


Between 12pm on Friday April 1 and 6.20pm on Thursday May 19 at Prison Brae, Tobermory, Isle of Mull, a property was broken into and items stolen.  Enquiries continue.

Sheep worrying

About 9.30am on Thursday May 19 near to Police Station, Bunessan, Isle of Mull a lamb was mauled by two dogs. Enquiries continue.

Driving while using a mobile phone

About 2.14pm on Saturday May 21 on the A828 at Connel, a man was allegedly seen driving a vehicle while using his mobile telephone.  The 49-year-old was charged with the offence and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
