One person was injured in a crash involving two vehicles and a deer late on Sunday night, which closed the A85 near Dalmally for over an hour.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: ‘Around 9.20pm on Sunday, May 15, police were called to the A85 near Dalmally following a report of a road crash involving two vehicles and a deer. One person was taken to hospital, and recovery was arranged for the vehicles and animal.’

A sound like a gunshot was heard at the scene. The road reopened around 11pm.
