Friends of Nevis members were delighted when Patrick Nevis, their aptly named member from California, joined them for their spring litter pick in Glen Nevis recently.

The group thanked all the volunteers, aged between 7 and well over 80 years of age, who took part and Ben Nevis Highland Centre for hosting the start of the event.

The next assignment is path maintenance on Saturday May 7. For details of events or to sign up to help, visit, contact Rory on 01397 701088 or email
