Police inquiries continue after a bike locked to railings in Albany Street, Oban, was stolen sometime between 3pm on Saturday April 16 and 3.30pm on Sunday April 17.
Police are seeking information or any dashcam footage after a northbound driver reported they had to brake to avoid a collison when a dark-colured car overtook on the A85 at Pennyfuir, Oban, into oncoming traffic.
The incident happened between 7.05am and 7.15am on A85, Pennyfuir, Oban, on Wednesday April 13.
A hole was smashed in the rear windscreen of a car parked at Burnbank Terrace, Oban, sometime between 1.30pm and 7.30pm on Sunday April 17. Inquiries continue.
Housebreaking with intent to steal
Police inquiries continue after officers received reports of a group of youths breaking into and stealing items from a shed at Falls View Apartments, Bonawe Road, North Connel, sometime between 4pm and 4.10pm on Sunday April 17.
The rubber flooring of the children’s playpark at Colonsay Terrace, Oban, was damaged after an abandoned mattress was set fire at 3.40pm on Monday April 18.
No car insurance and possession of controlled drugs
Checks on a man driving a vehicle at Oban Filling Station, Soroba Road, at 8pm on Monday April 18 revealed he had no insurance.
The driver, a man aged 25, was also found to be in possession of controlled drugs. He was charged for the offences and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Police are seeking information after it was alleged a youth punched a man at 9.10pm on Monday April 18 at Longsdale Crescent, Oban.
Fail to stop and report a road accident
At 3.35pm on Wednesday April 20, at Farmfoods car park, Dunollie Road, Oban, it is alleged a Brown Dacia car was damaged by another vehicle and that the offending driver did not leave details.
It is alleged an A-board was stolen from outside the VPZ Vape Shop, George Street, Oban, sometime between 8pm on Thursday April 21 and 10am on Friday April 22.
The door lock of a whie Kia was allegedly damaged by a sharp implement sometime between 6pm on Friday April 22 and 11am on Saturday April 23 at Scalpay Terrace, Oban.
Possession of controlled drugs
A man, aged 31, was charged and issued with a Recorded Police Warning, after he was found in possession of controlled drugs at 5.15pm on Saturday April 23.
During the evening of April 23 at a caravan at Fidden Farm, Tormore View, Fionnphort, Isle of Mull, it is alleged a woman assaulted another woman by pushing her to the ground and scratching her face and body.
At 1.30am on Sunday April 24 at a bar in Oban, a man was pushed over and punched on the face. Inquiries continue.
