Despite missing several regulars, Lochnell Under 14s put up a great fight in their Glasgow League match against St Andrews BC from Greenock at Mossfield on Sunday.

The North Connel side went down 3-1 after an end-to-end battle.

The team were unlucky not to get at least a point from the game following a second half fight back that saw Anna MacFarlane-Barrow scoring a terrific individual goal and goalkeeper Euan Trew pulling off several outstanding saves to keep the home side in it right to the end.

Lochnell have a home game against Cranhill United this Sunday.
