CalMac is struggling to find on-island accommodation for 14 crew of Mull’s new Loch Frisa service starting in June and over in Bonawe we heard about the death of community celebrity Stanley the Stag, The future of ‘Islay’s most famous building’ is in doubt. And Argyll and Bute Council’s departing depute provost has said ‘it is time for councillors to take back more control from officials’. Oban’s Easter Feis also returned this year after a three year break due to the pandemic.
