Office working may seem a bit mundane but The Highland Council is looking to change that view for some by offering an idyllic business location.

Three properties offering stunning views of Dunvegan Loch on Skye are now available to lease from the local authority.

Dunvegan Castle is a popular visitor attraction and the units available are located on route making a suitable location for a tourism-based business.

All three units offer a large glazed front at street level with two of them boasting exposed pine ceilings.

All include open plan retail/office areas and separate WC facilities. One of the units also benefits from an additional storage room downstairs, with separate access.

Building improvement works will be carried out by the council and are as follows:

Supporting steel structure will undergo a complete refurbishment, which will include stripping back, repairing and recoating with a modern industrial process to provide a smart clean new finish.

New guttering along the frontage. Exterior walls cleaned and repainted along the full road facing front elevation. Access walkways and steps cleaned, and the raised planters painted to match the new building frontage.

Full details, particulars and application packs are available on the Business and Trade section on the Council’s website.

Anyone interested in viewing any of the three properties should email property.letting@highland.gov.uk Closing date for completed applications is noon, Wednesday, April 27.
