Cheers to Oban Distillery for supporting the town’s hospice.

Hospice chairman David Entwistle met with the distillery’s Deirdre Henderson to collect a cheque for money raised by selling hot toddies during the winter festival.

The hot toddies made from the distillery’s famous single malt Little Bay whisky raised £523 which will be match funded by its parent company Diageo.

Mr Entwistle said: ‘Once again, a big thank you to all the staff and people connected with Oban Distillery. This is another fine example of how generous and kind people are in promoting a wee local charity which seeks to improve the quality of life for people and their families living with cancer and some long-term conditions.

‘All the money raised and donated to Oban Hospice stays in the town to support our community.’
