Fail to stop/fail to report

Between 3.30pm on Sunday January 9 and 8pm on Friday January 14, at a property in Bunessan, Mull, it is alleged a car was crashed into a fence causing damage.


Between 11am on Friday January 14 and 9am on Monday January 17 at An Turas, Scarinish, Isle of Tiree, it is alleged a glass panel was smashed.

Overweight vehicle

A vehicle stopped by police on Oban’s Corran Esplanade at 1pm on Thursday January 20 was found to be overloaded.

The driver, a man aged 28, was charged and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Housebreaking with intent to steal

Police are appealing for information after entry was forced into a garage in Clachan Seil sometime between 4.30pm on Wednesday January 19 and 9am on Thursday January 20.

Bladed article in a public place/drugs

A man, aged 40, was allegedly found in possession of a bladed article and herbal cannabis at 7pm on Friday January 21 in Tweeddale Street, Oban.

The man was arrested, charged and kept in custody to appear at Oban Sheriff Court.


At 1pm on Saturday January 22 at an address in Shuna Terrace, Oban, police carried out a search warrant and recovered a quantity of cocaine.

A man, aged 28, was arrested and charged in relation to being concerned in the supply of cocaine. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.


Between 5.30pm on Friday January 21 and 10am on Saturday January 22 at Glencruitten Road, Oban, wing mirrors were broken off two motor vehicles.


Between Friday October 1 2021 and Monday January 10, at an address in Dunuaran Road, Oban, it is alleged a picket fence was stolen.
