Oban’s lifeboat crew have helped ambulance personnel rescue a casualty from Mull.

The Mora Edith MacDonald was called on to help with a night medivac from Craignure on Thursday January 13.

The lifeboat left the station with two paramedics onboard shortly after 9pm and made best speed over to Mull where an ambulance was waiting to transfer the person needing help.

It was 10.40pm when the lifeboat made it back to Oban’s linkspan where the town’s coastguard rescue team helped move the casualty to a waiting ambulance.
