Brechin City took all three points in their first competitive meeting with Fort William on Saturday, when the Lochaber side travelled to Glebe Park for the Highland League clash.

Brechin’s goals came via a hat-trick for Garry Wood – including a penalty kick in the 75th minute – and a first City goal for Ewan Loudon.

However, there was plenty of good play on show from the hard-working new-look Claggan Park side which bodes well for the side under new manager Shadab Iftikhar.
