Newly-appointed Fort William Football Club (FC) coach Shadab Iftikhar took the reins at the Claggan Park Club on December 27 and has wasted no time in getting down to business.

The Mongolian national team coach has already signed eight players to the squad which has been unable to play since December 11 due to frozen away pitches – Formartine United and Forres Mechanics – and two Covid postponements – Brora Rangers and Nairn County – due to players testing positive for Covid-19.

Last Saturday, the new look squad played a training game at Claggan Park.
