DEATHS
CAMERON – Peacefully at her home on November 17, 2021, after an illness borne with great dignity and courage, Valerie (Val) Cameron, aged 80 years, Tayvallich and formerly of Bellanoch. Former proprietor of The Square Peg, Lochgilphead. Dearly loved and loving wife of Alan Cameron; much loved mother of Paul and Suzi. Cherished mother- in -law of Fergus. Adored Granny of Daniel, Samuel and the late Hannah. An esteemed and valued friend to many. A private family service will be held in Tayvallich Parish Church today, Thursday November 25, 2021, thereafter to Carsaig Cemetery. Donations may be made in Val’s memory directly to the MS Centre Lochgilphead and Glenaray Ward, Mid Argyll Hospital, or via Donald MacDonald Funeral Directors.

COFFIELD – Thomas of Crianlarich, passed away, Falls of Dochart Retirement Home, Killin on Friday November 19, 2021, aged 95 years. Beloved husband of the late Louise, much loved dad to Neil, Tommy, Jane and the late Stewart, a proud Paps and father-in-law to the family. The funeral service will be held on Thursday December 2, 2021 in Killin Parish Church at 11am, thereafter to Kirkton Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations welcomed to Falls of Dochart Retirement Home. Killin.

CURTIS – Peacefully on November 22, 2021, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Glasgow, after a short illness borne bravely, Mary Ann Curtis, nee MacGregor, in her 78th year, of 47 Glenfyne Park, Ardrishaig, loving wife of the late Charles Brian Curtis. Devoted Mother, Nana, Great Nana, Sister, Sister in Law and Mother In Law. A dear neighbour and good friend to many. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. A private family service will take place in Ardrishaig Parish Church on Friday November 26, 2021. Additional mourners are welcome to join with the family at Achnabreac Cemetery or as the funeral cortege leaves Ardrishaig Church at approx. 12.30/12.45pm. Bright Colours preferred.

MACKENZIE – Donald. After a long illness bravely borne in Forth Valley Royal Hospital on Thursday, November 11, 2021, Donald of Ardeonaig, aged 69 years. Beloved husband of Joan much loved dad of Donna, dear brother, uncle and friend to many. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 in Killin Parish Church at 11am, thereafter to Killin Cemetery. Family flowers only, Donations if desired to Killin Medical centre.

MACKENZIE – Fiona, of 5 Dunmar Court, Oban died peacefully after a long illness on November 17, 2021. A memorial service will be held at Dunmar Court on Saturday, November 27 at 11.00am. A cremation service will follow on Monday November 29 at Cardross Crematorium at 1.15pm. Donations in lieu of flowers to pspassociation.org.uk
MAIN – Irene and Albert Main sadly announce the passing of their much loved son Christopher. Loving brother to his sister Roslyn, brother-in-law David and uncle to Kyle, Emma and Ally. Good friend to all who knew him. Funeral will take place at 12 noon on Friday November 26, 2021 from St. Johns Cathedral, Oban and thereafter to Pennyfuir Cemetery.

WINDHAM-WRIGHT – Mike, 73, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2021. Loving partner of Lin, beloved father of Thor and Oli and grandfather of Orion and Meridian. How lucky we are to have had something that makes saying goodbye so hard… A celebration of Mike’s life will take place at Shore Cottage, Barcaldine, on Friday December 3, at midday where friends are invited to attend. Memorial donations may be made in Mike’s name to the Beatson Cancer Charity.
