Police attending a disturbance at a hotel near Dalmally arrested a man  after being made aware of possible explosive material.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: ‘Officers were called to a hotel in the Dalmally area around 7.35am on Wednesday November 10 to a report of a disturbance.

‘While at the premises officers were made aware of possible explosive material in one of the rooms.

‘A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are continuing.’
