Lochaber Ideas Week will return next month to brighten up the dark days of November!

It’s been two years since Lochaber Chamber of Commerce last presented ‘Lochaber Ideas Week’ – a week-long business jamboree of events, training seminars, inspirational talks and networking opportunities.

2019 was our busiest year ever, with a fantastic range of events that brought the community together to celebrate ideas, collaboration and innovation.

It’s a bit of an understatement to say that a lot has happened since then.

It wasn’t possible to hold Ideas Week last November and, until very recently, we weren’t sure that we’d be able to bring the business week back in person this year. But with restrictions finally eased, event guidelines clarified and most adults double-vaccinated, we’re confident that the time is right for the return of Lochaber Ideas Week, albeit in a simplified and smaller-scale way than in previous years.

We’re delighted to be able to invite everyone in the business and wider local community to come along to share the insights on offer during Lochaber Ideas Week 2021.

What’s on offer? We’ve got a day dedicated to the key area of sustainable aquaculture, a
day celebrating resilience and innovation in tourism, a behind-the-scenes tour of BSW
Timber, and of course the grand finale – our Ideas Week Gala Dinner.

If you haven’t had the chance to get your glad-rags on for a while, this is the perfect
opportunity. We’ll enjoy a sumptuous seven-course taster menu along with great company and entertainment.

Businesses and individuals are urged to get in quickly to book their tables as numbers are limited.

We’ll be based at Ben Nevis Distillery this year, a spacious and relaxed venue that will be perfect for getting together in a Covid-safe way. All daytime events are free to attend but must be booked in advance to comply with capacity requirements.
